We run the school from these campuses:

2. Information we collect

When you register for a course, we collect:

• your full name, email address and phone number
• your gender and date of birth
• your educational qualification and residential address
• your next of kin's name and phone number
• the branch, batch and course you choose, and how you heard about us

When you pay online, your card or bank details are entered on Paystack's secure payment page. We never see or store your card number or PIN. We only receive the payment reference, the amount, the payment method and whether the payment succeeded.

If you pay by bank transfer, we also collect the receipt image you upload. A receipt may show your name, bank, account number and transaction details.

If you contact us or arrange accommodation by phone, message or email, we keep the details you give us and our correspondence with you.

Our website and hosting providers automatically record basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited, to keep the site secure and running.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• process your registration and place you in the right batch
• take, verify and record payments, and confirm them to you
• email you about your application, payment and next steps
• arrange accommodation and run your classes
• keep financial and student records
• prevent fraud and keep our systems secure
• understand how students find us, so we can improve our marketing

4. Our legal basis

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), we process your information because it is necessary to provide the course you ask for, because you have given your consent (for example, by ticking the box on our enrollment form), because we must keep certain records by law, and because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing the school in ways that do not override your rights.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data with:

• Third-Party Service Providers: Trusted partners who assist in our operations, including secure payment processors (Paystack), cloud infrastructure providers, and email notification platforms.
• Academic/Regulatory Bodies: Statutory education or certification bodies (such as NABTEB) where required for official accreditation and examination.
• Legal Requirements: Public or government authorities if required by Nigerian law or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Caviar, our staff, or students.

Transaction statuses, registration fees, and tuition payment amounts. Note: Payment card details and bank account credentials are directly processed by Paystack; Caviar does not store your full card details or banking credentials.

We may also share information with our professional advisers, auditors, regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your information is protected as the law requires.

6. Next of kin and other people's details

If you give us someone else's details, such as a next of kin, you confirm that they know you have shared them. We use these details only to contact them about you when there is a genuine need.

7. Applicants under 18

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must know about and agree to your registration and payment, and we may ask for proof of this. We do not knowingly collect a child's information without a parent's or guardian's involvement.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet legal and accounting obligations. After that we delete or anonymise it.

9. How we protect it

Our admin dashboard is limited to authorised staff and protected by login. Connections to our website are encrypted, payment receipts are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible, and our providers maintain their own security measures.

No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you and the regulator as the law requires.

10. Your rights

Under the NDPA, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete
• delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it
• limit or stop certain uses of your information
• give you your information in a portable format
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before)
